What should I do when my cylinder vacuum cleaner overheats?

If your cylinder vacuum cleaner is overheating, check the suggestions below before contacting the call centre.

  • Check the hoses and the dust collection bin for any blockages.
  • Ensure that the filters are clean. If not, clean them.

To clean the dust pack and the outlet filter, follow the instructions in the next section.


STEP 2. Cleaning the dust pack

To clean the dust pack, please follow the steps below.

  1. Remove the dust bin and the dust pack as shown below.

  1. Remove the sponge and filter from the dust pack.

  1. Wash the sponge and the filter of the dust pack with water.

  1. Let the sponge and the filter dry in the shade for more than 12 hours.

  1. Put the sponge and the filter into the dust pack.

STEP 3. Cleaning the outlet filter

  1. Press the fixed frame part at the back of the main body to remove it.

  1. Remove and replace the blocked outlet filter.

NOTE: Replacement filters are available from local retailers.


STEP 4. Contact the call centre
