Samsung Introduces Changes in Process of Activation of Windows8 Operating System in contrast to existing Windows 7 OS :

Windows 8 is the current release of the Windows Operating Systems, produced by Microsoft for use on Samsung Notebooks, including home and business Desktops. It comes with fundamental enhancements developed to change the way desktops are looked at.

Samsung has Introduced a different process of activating your account in contrast to the on-going process with Windows 7. Let’s figure out the major differences as described below :

a). At Present, All the Samsung Products comes with Certificate of Authenticity (COA) located as shown in the pic below :

b). When Customer purchases a PC with COA, The device can be used immediately without any activation

a). The new Products from Samsung with Windows 8 (As shown below) will come with a Digital Product Key (DPK) instead of COA.

b). After purchasing a PC with Windows 8 Installed, the customer connects to the Internet and performs the auto activation operation.

NOTE : Users Upgrading their current version of windows to windows 8 will have to activate their windows 8 thorugh internet and the above changes are applicable only to users buying a New Samsung Product with pre-installed Windows 8.
